 Uncle Shelby

The story that won for me my first liar’s contest.

My daddy had seven brothers, but none of ‘em got along.  The only one he kept in touch with was the youngest, my Uncle Shelby.  He used to leave his Kentucky farm periodically and come see us in Florida.  When my Daddy died, I was sent on a mission: deliver the family heirloom - a gnome - to Uncle Shelby, on his farm, in the Black Mountains of Kentucky.  What an experience!
