Storytelling for Media Specialists This is the place it all began! Developing storytelling programs in and for the library-media center is a round peg in a round hole: a perfect fit! This action-filled workshop includes methods, resources and activities adaptable to any program or ambition.

General Workshops

Storytelling for Beginners - “I’d love to do what you do, but how do I get started?” This workshop covers it all: resources, story development, venues, stage fright, caring for your audience and more.

What’s So Funny? - Everyone loves a funny story - or a funny storyteller - or a story with funny characters - or just a good laugh.  This workshop offers strategies and tips for adding humor to your story or your presentation or both.  Easy as picking ticks off a bald dog - and lots more fun!

Creative Soup - Fire up the creative juices!  Think outside the box (and the circle and the triangle too).  Discover new ways to look at old stories, new ways to brainstorm story ideas, and resources to help you cook up something new!

Critquing - Gentle coaching for anyone in the storytelling/writing field.
