Hag of Plymouth
Nancy’s in love with Jack, a sailor, and, when he’s at sea, she stands on a jutting rock and watches the horizon for his ship’s return. Finally, they’re to be married and he’ll go to sea no more. The entire village prepares to celebrate the wedding, none more excited than Nancy. But watch and wait though she might, he does not return. The more time that passes, the more often she’s planted on that look-out rock that towers over the harbour, becoming a fixture for ships and sailors coming in and going out. Until one day, a ship from a far off land… well, you’ll just need to hear the rest of the story.
